BigGrin Just did a full service on the bike and fitted a set of Goodridge braided brake hoses after overhauling the 2 six pot calipers with a new seal kit from WEMOTO in Shoreham (£40 cheaper than proper Kawasaki ones)

OooooH My GOD what a difference!

The lever doesn't come back to the grips and the power is way more than it was when this beauty was new.

I Can't recommend this upgrade enough, but it has to be stainless steel all the way baby, especially in this shitty weather!ThumpUp

For those out there looking for a new challenge, to lose weight or to just learn something new then have you thought about Taekwon Do? Hear is my Taekwon Do Training Diary as it is a great thing to take up. Great excercise, ethos as well as self defense.

I would support your comments on WEMOTO. Have always found them very helpful and parts good value. Although basically set up for websales they have got a sales counter in Shoreham so worth a ride if you want to have a look before you buy.

I agree, I did the online research then went down to get the bits myself and it's a regular aladins cave.

Although they aren't the cheapest on some of the parts I was looking at, Busters and M&P are cheaper on a lot of stuff but they aren't within close riding!
But for pattern parts they are great!Blink

All bikes should have braided hoses. All Triumphs come out of the factory with these fitted. Flapper
Life presents many paths. If you chose the path to BMW or Harley ownership, you only have yourself to blame.

I must admit I do not have them and think they could be a welcome addition to the bike. Having just changed the brake pads that was quite a difference in itself but I suspect that the braided hoses would be another mighty step.

Must agree with the black mambo (sorry tiger) that all bikes should have them as standard really as the extra cost for them to be standard must be minimal and would make the bike appear more consistent in riding! But maybe people would think their bike was too reliable and therefore not buy a new one?????????????????????????Glare
