Well there is a new biker friendly cafe.
A21 just south of Roberts Bridge, stopped there this morning for some brekkie, and had a warm welcome. The new owner is just finding his feet and welcomes bikers, siad he had a great time on the May Day run.
Food very well cooked. Generally if your out that way would recommend it for a stopping point.ThumpUp

For those out there looking for a new challenge, to lose weight or to just learn something new then have you thought about Taekwon Do? Hear is my Taekwon Do Training Diary as it is a great thing to take up. Great excercise, ethos as well as self defense.

Yep sure do: Route 1066 Cafe, A21 heading south towards Hastings on the righthand side ( if going south)just after the Robertsbridge roundabout
Massive carpark, next to a hand carwash place, and next week or so the garden will be open for breakfasts in the sun so I was informed.

Sounds perfect for a wednesday evening ride location. Any ideas if they do a late evening opening any evenings? Do you per chance have a phone number or webadress so that we could contact them?

I will make a concerted effort to visit them again this weekend to ensure their fare is up to us bikers high standard and get all the necessary.
So now I have an excuse to enjoy a full english without the other half moaning about all the stuff thats not healthy, thankfully the missus bike is slower than mine but only just, otherwise I would need more than a gel seat.

Well just had to make sure my endorsement of the cafe was justified, so popped in this morning to check their wares again and can confirm that it's still a good breakfast. I spoke to the owner today and he is keen to welcome all bikers to the venue, and mentioned that he is quite happy to run BBQs or evening events in the garden or main hall which is at the back of the cafe. He has a classic car meet there on the last saturday of the month running from 5-9 ish.
The car park can take about 25 cars, so loads of room for us bikers.
Opening hours are 06:30-18:00 or longer if needed.
Hope all these details are of interest.

Well needed to get out, did my back in last week and was booked for a weeks leave this week.
So being that the weather was being friendly decided to visit the 1066 cafe today for a spot of lunch.
Very nice indeed.

I spoke to the owner who is called Dan, and the telephone number for the cafe is 07515 286378.

He mentioned that if wanted he could do a evening special and if there was the need he could arrange pitches for a few tents in the large garden to the side of the cafe?

He has a flyer out now promoting the last saturday evening of the month for the custom car and now including custom bikes and trucks. He has music and now a licence to sell alcohol?

I'm gonna give it a go at the end of the month......ThumpUp

Sorry couldn't make it last night, had an oil filter and oil change to do.
Is there any meetings/rides planned for this weekend? Theres a nice little cafe in Selsey we use, based on 60's design with booths, and a 60s themed decor. In the high street, just before the junction with West Street.Food is good.

You can see the parking areas in the service road.
