Hi everyone, after years of car driving i have just succesfully completed a DAS and have bought a 650 Deauville. Am new to biking so have no biker buddies as such, so would like to join rideouts and socialise (if my deauville ain't too boring that is - alot of the posts seem to be from bikers with racer type bikes)?BigGrin

For those out there looking for a new challenge, to lose weight or to just learn something new then have you thought about Taekwon Do? Hear is my Taekwon Do Training Diary as it is a great thing to take up. Great excercise, ethos as well as self defense.

Hi maidstonemark, Not all of us feel the need to get our knee down. I have a 650 Deauville too so you are not alone. Welcome to the forum.

I have a Tiger and my wife takes the piss about me being a slow old man, not far from the truth!
It doesn't matter whether you ride a ped or a Hyabusa, it's all great fun.
Keep an eye out for some of the ride outs and open days. There are a couple coming up in the autumn.
Another good event is Brightona on october 10th. Most of these are free gatherings with plenty of stalls plus food and music.
Just an excuse for a ride and mooch around and look at the bikes. Most bikers are pretty friendly!!

Enjoy the trip MM. I shall be going in to work tomorrow as usual....would anyone notice if I just turned north and kept going? You will be glad you chose that comfortable Deauville!

Hooter - You could not be more correct. What say we jsut not bother going to work tomorrow and all just get on some twisty's and head north!

Mark though feel free to come along for a ride, we have a selection of riders and bikes and so would be more then welcome. If you want we do a weekly ride starting in Haywards Heath every wednesday leaving about 7 and so always feel free to come along.

I want to go faster, I want to go faster..

Welcome.....................If your on two wheels thats great, anyone who berates what you ride is a twattling burger, the more bikers on the UK roads the better it is for all of us, after all we can all vote....whether they listen is another story though.
Have fun in the north, safe riding.........BigGrin
