After a fantastic sunshine day to day, and a discussion with Pete over a BBQ and a beer the decision has been made that is the weather is anywhere close to being as nice as today then we will be going for a ride around Sussex and ending up in Brighton, down on Madeira drive.

There is a good fish and chip place and often more bikes and cars down there, if it is warm then there is danger then some hotter clothes may be shed to do some seaside splashing Cool to cool down before coming home

Normal leave time of 6.30ish (yes right!) from Bike Smart. Keep and eye on this posting for any updates....Flapper

If the Poll works well on this post then in the future may set up a poll for which location to go to and everyone can have a vote!!!

What time would you arrive at Madeira Drive? I should be able to get over there on the 9th.
The XC forecast says 16 degrees dry from 16:00 hrs onwards. 5-7mph S/ESE winds.

The wifey and i went there saturday night for fishy chips, and it was nice to sit and watch
people with no willies drive their ferrari convertables up and down whilst looking very sad indeed.

The fish was good, we used the Madeira Drive fish&chip bar, the seagull next to it is ok too, just a case of which ones have tables available.

Hiya Magnum

There is never too much much accuracy with regards to timing as our 6.30 departure is normally about 7. If I was forced to come up with a number I would goa long with 8-8.30 as a fairly educated guess.

Hope you can make it down, we did go down there a few times last year, I quite like the american muscle cars (the old classic ones) that are often down there. Not fussed about the modern day plastic ones!!!!

Look out for a very bright orange speedtriple parked up in bike bay, should be chillin out somewhere close by.
Me too, love the old Mustangs and Chargers from the 60-70s, my dream car was and still is a Shelby Mustang.
Sad as it seems I surfed an Alaskan web site and found nearly new mustangs for £12k?

I agree though with the cars, slightly cliche but my dream car is a not very good condition shelby gt 500 that I could rebuild!! Hope to meet you Wednesday evening
