I am sure you were all eagerly awaiting the details of the Wednesday ride out and so here we are. This week there is an event being run by South East Biker at the Kings Head Pub in North Chailey Details Here where they were hoping to have Sam Manicom come and speak about his experiences of riding all round the world and more insight into parts of the stories you read in his book. Regrettably Sam had to cancel for personal reasons Sad , the event is going to stay though as there are other people to meet as well as a chance to speak and get details from Adventure Peru as well as some other colourful characters whilst also having a brew and potentially a BBQ as well, not sure there will be a full hog on the spit but a BBQ always sounds good to me.

It is with this in mind that the Wednesday ride has been cancelled as most of us know we are only allowed so many nights out in a week, therefore as Pete and Nick will be busy organising the Kings Head if there is enough interest I am proposing to have a ride on THURSDAY, the plan being to LEAVE Bike Smart (or somewhere else) at 6.30 ON THE DOT (Not hanging around on this one), have an hour out on the bike around the beautiful Sussex roads in the sun and then end up just after 7.30 at the Kings Head for a pleasant evening in what is meant to be some fantastic SUNSHINE!!

If you want the Ride on THURSDAY - PLEASE REPLY Flapper Flapper Cool BigGrin BigGrin Blink

For those out there looking for a new challenge, to lose weight or to just learn something new then have you thought about Taekwon Do? Hear is my Taekwon Do Training Diary as it is a great thing to take up. Great excercise, ethos as well as self defense.

GREAT Turn out tonight and although a few times quite a few people went different directions I thought it was great.

Thanks all for a great turn out, nice to see some new faces and some old faces from last year, more great rides to come.

Great to see one and all and look forward to more rides. Feel free to suggest locations for next week!! Maybe the new cafe!!!

I want to go faster, I want to go faster..

Hello all! BigGrin

You're quite right Mike, it was a good ride out indeed! Although I did get bored waiting at a junction for 10 minutes, never mind! I was thinking, it's a shame twitter can't be used to locate riders, in case the drop off system goes tits up (like it did last night!) - although not many people have twitter on their phones!

I sent you some photographs, hope you received them!?! If not, let me know and I'll host 'em somewhere.

An amusing moment was definitely when you thought I was a copper...so funny to visually see some 'ride nervously'! Flapper

Cheers!
Chris

Isnt't funny how if you think there is a Constable behind you, you immediately start doing silly things!!! I was alright after you did your wheelie (I do have a photo for any police that would like itLOL LOL LOL )

Was a really good evening! I have attached all the photos here and I have left in the worst of the fuzzy shots to let people have an idea of the level of photography that Chris is capable off whislt standing in the middle of a busy road!!!

Ah haaaa! Yeah wheelies are the best non-police display to reassure riders...I'd never do such a thing though and deny everything possible! You never took a picture you bloomin' fraudster! Laugh

Ah glad you got the photos, yes admit photo location wasn't always ideal! Drool
